Mr. Audet has handled a wide variety of patent and trademark matters, primarily
in the mechanical and chemical fields, including laparoscopic and other medical
devices, plastics, metal & paper packaging, materials, products, machines and
processes. He also has handled infant care products. Mr. Audet provides clients
with the insights gained from his substantial in-house experience. At American
Can Company, he was responsible for all intellectual property matters for the
paper, metal and plastics packaging businesses worldwide, including top level
counseling, top priority multi-million dollar R&D programs, litigation
management, licensing, merger, acquisition and settlement agreements, opinions,
and worldwide patent and trademark prosecution. At U.S. Surgical he had
worldwide patent responsibilities for the company's core medical devices.
