Mr. Cieck’s practice is directed to patent preparation and prosecution, as well
as related opinion matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Cieck was employed as intellectual property
Counsel for DFB Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in San Antonio, Texas. His
responsibilities included: managing the company’s intellectual property
portfolio; advising the Board of Directors, senior management, and shareholders
on intellectual property issues and due diligence efforts; and drafting and
negotiating manufacturing and supply, consulting, research and development,
licensing, confidentiality, clinical study, and material transfer agreements.
