Ms. McKeever’s practice is focused primarily on preparation and prosecution of
patent applications, as well as drafting of opinions related to infringement,
patentability and invalidity for a variety of technologies, with a concentration
in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology arts; mergers and acquisitions;
intellectual property due diligence analysis; various matters related to the
Food and Drug Administration (FDA), including Paragraph IV filings, Hatch-Waxman
issues and intellectual property strategies.
Prior to law school, Ms. McKeever worked in the pharmaceutical industry as a
Research Associate at Xenogen Corporation in Cranbury, NJ. In addition, she
participated in various large-scale litigation matters in a paralegal capacity
within a major pharmaceutical company. After graduating from law school, Ms.
McKeever represented physicians, nurses and hospitals in civil litigation cases
before practicing intellectual property law and joining OGRP.
